Goofball Charlie

Charlie wants to participate in everything that Stella does lately including playing dress up in princess clothes! He wouldn't let us take off the Tinkerbell outfit!

We decided, very last minute, to get a hotel room at an indoor water park for Friday night. We stayed up way too late on Friday in the pools. The kids didn't want to go to sleep in the hotel beds, go figure. I think we were finally asleep by midnight, in the same bed I might add. This was a very good test to prove we're not ready for a longer vacation in a hotel as a family quite yet. We were all up early this morning for more slides and lazy river action! It was such a blast! Charlie had so much fun, he was laughing the entire time. Stella hasn't stopped asking when we can go back.

First Trip to Como Zoo this Year! Wednesday, the kids and I decided to head to Como Zoo and enjoy the beautiful weather. The rides are still not opened for the season, which Stella was really bummed out about. We had a great time watching the gorillas and just being outside! All throughout the zoo Stella wanted to pose for pictures! Now that the weather is getting nice Charlie wants to be outside all the time. I won't be able to have the back door open at all this summer because Charlie keeps pushing out the screen door! We all are looking forward for summer to come!

Finally, a vacation!!! It was so nice to get away for a little rest and sunshine. Playa Del Carmen is beautiful and the weather was perfect. We missed the kids so much and were eager to return by the end. The kids had fun at Grandma Lonna and Grandpa John's house. Thanks to Joy at Germantown Travel the trip was a success!
