Stella's big news!

Stella decided that today was the day to get her ears pierced. She was so excited on the ride over to the mall singing made-up songs about getting her ears pierced and looking so pretty! The first picture was a before shot, the second is right after it was done and the third about two minutes later! She can't wait to tell and show everyone. She keeps wanting to look in the mirror, it's cute.

Corn on the cob!

We enjoyed the weather this weekend and hung out a lot outside playing, gardening and grilling food. Charlie discovered corn on the cob for the first time and loved it. Cousin Sofia joined the fun on Friday night.

Little Mermaid fan

Ever since the weather got a little warmer, Stella wants to wear her Little Mermaid pajamas every night. Thanks to the Little Mermaid shoes Grandpa Arden and Grandma Carol gave her, she now has the perfect bedtime outfit! I'm just waiting for a twisted ankle!

Restaurant behavior

These pictures are from going out to eat last week for Mother's day. Stella insists on getting a kiddie cocktail now every time we go out to eat and then can't sit still because of the sugar high. Charlie needs to be constantly entertained in order to stay in his seat. Next week we have a wedding we're all attending- should be interesting to see how the dinner goes!

Mother's Day

The kids woke me up this morning with Starbucks, some doughnuts and the paper. It was such a nice surprise and a fun morning. We headed to the Como Zoo and went on a bunch of rides. Charlie had a blast riding the cars around in a circle. He could have stayed on the ride all day. We let him ride it quite a few times since there was no one else in line!

Mall of America

On Saturday, since it was so rainy out, we headed to the Mall to go on some rides. We waited in line TWICE to see Sponge Bob. Stella was too nervous to pose for a picture the first time so she made us go back in line for a second try. This was the first time she was tall enough to ride the go carts so she was pretty excited. Charlie always enjoys the bus ride and so does Dad!

Cinco de Mayo

The kids were so proud of their Cinco de Mayo hats they made today in daycare. They wore them around the house all night, just cracking us up. Oh, and Charlie now climbs up on the kitchen table and laughs because he knows it's naughty. Time outs aren't working with this boy.

Playing outside

Charlie needed some rest after mowing the lawn all day! He decided to just sit and hang out for a minute against the fence, it was so funny! The kids had fun riding bikes today and enjoying the beautiful weather. It's going to be a fun summer with the kids wanting to be outside all of the time.
